Karen Tait, editor of French Property News “Whether buying in France to escape Brexit or the dreary British weather, house-hunters will find great value property across the Channel. From grand chateaux to pretty village houses and spacious country homes, French property remains surprisingly affordable, and offers a passport to the wonderful way of life so appreciated by Francofiles from all walks of life.” says Karen Tait, editor of French Property News.

“The French Property markets is incredibly healthy” says Chairman Trevor Leggett of Leggett Immobilier. “It’s being driven by a double whammy of low existing prices and incredibly cheap borrowing”.

Jason Porter, from show sponsor Blevins Franks comments “If any UK nationals are planning on moving to France in the near future, if there is the possibility of acting upon this prior to 31 December 2020, then this should be done to ring-fence benefits and their legal residency position. At this point in time, UK nationals planning on moving to France after 31 December have no clarity as to what the requirements are to be able to legally reside in France.”

With two seminar theatres running a range of seminars covering the buying process, tax, legal, pensions, inheritance and healthcare issues, it really is a “one stop shop” for anyone wanting to buy in France.
