Burke Bros to Feature at Two Major French Property Expos in 2026, With Expert Seminar Contribution in London
One of the UK’s most experienced specialists in removals to and from France, Burke Bros Moving Group is pleased to confirm its participation in two major French property exhibitions in 2026: the flagship French Property Exhibition in London (24–25 January) and the returning French Property Exhibition in Birmingham (16–17 May).
The company has a long and continuous history with the French property market. Burke Bros first advertised in the inaugural edition of French Property News in 1989 and attended the very first French Property Exhibition soon after, maintaining a presence at these events ever since.
Significant Role at the London Expo: Expert Seminar Appearance
As part of the London show’s seminar programme, Burke Bros Sales Manager, Ben Hingley, will speak on a panel of relocation experts, offering guidance on the practicalities of moving to France. The seminar will run on both days, giving visitors the chance to ask questions about logistics, regulations and planning their relocation.
“The French Property Exhibition has always been a key event for people who are serious about making the move,” says Ben Hingley, Sales Manager at Burke Bros. “With decades of experience handling relocations to France, we know the questions buyers are asking and the challenges they’re facing. The seminars this year will be a great chance for people to garner genuinely practical, real-world advice.”
Returning to Birmingham for the First Time Since 2012
In May 2026, Burke Bros Moving Group will also exhibit at the French Property Exhibition in Birmingham, which returns to the city for the first time since 2012. The show will take place at the Britannia Suite, National Conference Centre, next to the National Motorcycle Museum.
“We’re pleased to see the exhibition come back to Birmingham after more than a decade,” says Chris Burke, Director of the international removals company. “France remains one of the most desirable destinations for UK movers and being able to offer expert guidance right here in our home region feels like a natural fit for us.”
The French Property Market remains strong for buyers and movers as current data indicates a positive environment for those seeking to buy in France. House prices in metropolitan France increased by +1.0% in Q1 2025, showing renewed market stability. Annual property transactions reached approximately 892,000 in the 12 months to April 2025. Regional housing markets continue to appeal to British buyers due to competitive pricing and strong lifestyle value. With steady prices and increased market confidence, 2025–2026 is shaping up to be a favourable period for British buyers considering a move to France.
Visitors to either the London or Birmingham show will be able to speak directly with Burke Bros relocation experts about removals, customs requirements, transport logistics and planning a move to France. They will also be able to attend the seminar featuring Ben Hingley at the London event for in-depth relocation guidance, as well as speak in person with fellow exhibitors and receive free advice from legal, financial, relocation, tax, healthcare, visa and currency specialists, among many others.
